Review of Elvira: Mistress of the Dark (1988) by Andrew H — 28 Aug 2009
I'd wanted to see this for ages (since it came out) and it's stood the test of time well. It's like a parody of all that's great about the 80's, but made in the 80's.
As a Troma-esque genre picture its perfect, delivering all I expected and more (a Flashdance / Carrie mashup?) and keeps loading on the insanity It deserves to be more popular than it is.
