Review of Elling (2001) by Dan B — 12 Jan 2009
Delightful Norwegian semi-comedy about a dysfunctional pair for whom even simple actions like going shopping or making a phonecall are major triumphs. Funny, moving and uplifting, with superb performances from the leads and a concise 89 minute runtime.
If you see only one Norwegian film about people with mental health problems this year, this is the one.
