Review of Ellie Parker (2005) by Andrew L — 07 Aug 2007
The is a hidden autobiography of Naomi Watt's extreme frustrations and despairs trying to make it in hollywood. There is a lot of pain in this flick...Naomi herself struggled for more than a decade, failing most of the time until her recent successes. She plays Ellie parker, an aspiring but mostly failing young actress.
It is a good wake-up film to show to a delusional aspiring actress friend, but other than that there really isn't any point. The film is poorly shot, poorly scripted, and pointless to watch unless you want to scare a young hollywood wannabe into submission to her obscurity and to smash any delusions of grandeur.
While I don't hold the right to completely review this film, it was pretty god awful to watch it.
