Review of Elle (2016) by Oliver S — 11 Jan 2017
Elle is superb!!! The story is well cooked with lustrous sensibility and lemon peel twist. That is when you encounter the uncomfortable pleasure, a kick. Michele is an icy princess, like Turandot of Puccini, but she is trying to feel her existence.
Patrick character is very likable, sexy, the feeling of Michele to him is genuine, but neither of them can get what they want from the other. On top of her ashy picture of teen girl, a protective ex-husband, a fling of bald fat guy, Patrick is the one she heart felt.
But there is no chance for her. She struggled to get out something from Patrick. On the other hand, Patrick asked why, why they can't continue this thing between them. The killing of Patrick is not planned, but it played well, when it comes.
Patrick is loved by his wife, in the end, she thanked Michele gave him what he wanted at least once, Actually, he had her three times. But the best character in Film, I have to gave it to the cat, the black cat.
