Normally I wouldn't get a film like this on DVD. It is completely excessive and over indulgent and silly. The script is something to be desired. However I was completely captivated by Anne Hathaway's performance.
She has this range of emotion that makes her so wonderful to watch. When she is forced to do the most wicked thing you can imagine, through feeling her grief you also feel her strength and relief when she finds it in herself to stop and break the curse.
I want to see more of her!!! Let's find a better film though!
