Yes, the film has flaws, but it also has real heart, an excellent performance by Ms. Dunst, three terrific scenes, and good number of genuine laughs. The flaws keep it from rising into the pantheon of the Best of Crowe, but the pluses outweigh the minuses by a good measure.
