Review of Elizabethtown (2005) by Nathan B — 02 Feb 2009
"Death and life, right next door to each other!" I usually get way into Cameron Crowe movies and Elizabethtown in no exception. There is an odd curiosity or anticipation that I feel when I watch it.
It's hard to describe, but I like this unique feeling because I can't think of where I've ever felt it before... strange. The soundtrack is so perfect, it seems like the songs take whatever scene is playing and grow it into some sort of beautiful.
.. something. I can't really put my finger on this flick. But I enjoy the heck out of it. I really wish the road trip was longer, I love a good trip. And that Claire, she's a handful!
