Review of Elizabethtown (2005) by Lasse C — 18 Dec 2009
This movie proves to me what I have felt for a long time; Orlando Bloom does not have the charisma or the talent to be the lead in a movie. I thought he was perfect as Legolas in The Lord of the Rings but that was it for me.
The film was poorly paced the director made some highly illogical choices and actually managed to turn what should have been Susan Sarandon's shining moment in the film into a ridiculous comedy show, litterally.
The reason I stayed through to the end was that I actually found myself caring about the love story.
