Review of Elizabethtown (2005) by Christopher D — 06 May 2011
I always relate to Cameron Crowe movies. The guy makes really good ones (Jerry Mcguire, Say Anything, Vanilla Sky, etc.) A lot of people told me I'd hate this one, that not even his magic touch could fix this trainwreck.
Honestly I feel they're wrong, and the script for this was tighter and less meandering and pretentious than his prior films. I was torn at the end of the movie (which has a perfect ending), I was convinced this was either Crowe's very best, or his absolute worst.
I flipped a coin and I think I made the right decision.
