Hardly the best romantic film out there, but it's interesting and different, very much like how I felt Garden State was. I'm actually one in the minority who thinks Orlando Bloom's performance was better than Kirsten Dunst.

The thing that makes this movie bearable, is their chemistry. It's a quiet but understated kind of romance between the two. Kirsten Dunst was a pretty poorly written character, she's an airline stewardess who has nothing better than to run around and stalk ORlando Bloom.

I like to think she was an angel and just looking out for Orlando Bloom's dark and troubled character. What other purpose did she have? The first hour and 20 minuutes is the whole movie. It takes a weird turn when it becomes a stupid road movie for Orlando Bloom to backtrack across America, and visit the places that Kirsten Dunst has marked in a scrapbook.

(how does anybody except an angel have that kind of time and dedication not to mention attention to detail?) It just came out of nowhere, and added nothing to the movie- except a tacked on "finding yourself" side story for Orlando Bloom.

This movie is too random but the relationship between Bloom and Dunst at least gives you a reason to watch.
