Review of Elizabeth: The Golden Age (2007) by Sunil J — 19 Apr 2009
This one dragged on for what felt like forever. I loved the idea of the movie and that Cate Blanchett and Geoffrey Rush reprised their roles from the first Elizabeth, but it felt like it was going on forever.
The costumes were absolutely breath taking and the architecture was stunning. I was irritated with the relationship between Elizabeth, Bess, and Walter Raleigh. I liked the original one better.
