Review of Elizabeth: The Golden Age (2007) by Rachmad T — 08 Jul 2009
Excellent film. Riveting, gorgeous. It was definitely as good as the first movie, if not better. The Sir Walter Raleigh period is the time in Queen Elizabeth's life I find most intriguing. Samantha Morton made for a vile kind of Mary Queen of Scots, which is why I didn't give this film five stars.
