Review of Elizabeth: The Golden Age (2007) by Adam B — 06 May 2011

We mustn't criticize a great movie based on religious views. Whether Catholic or Portestant - what does it matter? I think Queen Elizabeth 1 would have said the same thing. This is a superb epic and will undoubtedly become a classic and recieve at least 4 stars in ten years from now when people are not so squirrly about politics and religion.

It was the practice of the day - people were religious. Get over it. Francis Drake was merely doing what the Spanish were - plundering and pillaging.
