Review of Elite Squad: The Enemy Within (2010) by Rodrigo M — 03 Jan 2011
I'd been waiting a long long time to watch this and when I finally did, my mind was blown away. Wagner Moura does an excellent job this time as an older, more tired and more experienced Cap. Nascimento. The plot goes beyond police corruption and violence in the slums (favelas), it deals with politics and the system. The film shows a cold, cruel, but very realistic portrait of our society and raises really important and relevant questions.
Awesome film!
