As a brazilian, I'm proud to say that this is the best movie my country has ever produced, even surpassing the great Cidade de Deus (City Of God). An intense and emotive story, packed with great performances from everyone (especially Wagner Moura, who gives life to the badass Lt.
Nascimento), and the sad reality that reigns here in Rio de Janeiro. A great movie, a lot better than many of the big Hollywood blockbusters.
