For fans of "city of god" and "city of men", this film is lower budget, but still in the same category of film. it is an ultra violent, gritty look into the slums of rio, and the military police force that is put in place to combat the violence, with of course, more violence.

the action is ferocious, and the torture scenes are so realistic that it borders on snuff.
