Review of Elite Squad (2007) by Radek C — 03 Jan 2009
With drug trafficking problems in the background, the film gives a good insight into awkward attempts of the police to fight the crime. The police, which is meant to protect, is actually perceived as the root of different evil.
And there is BOPE, and at the beginning I thought that their techniques are controversial and solely wrong, but hey! with corruption eating police officers away, there is no other force capable of bringing the change.
It's easy for us to sit peacfully and judge, but with drug dealers having no moral values, anything goes. In overall, a violent eye-opener.
