Review of Elite Squad (2007) by Konrad R — 20 Apr 2009
Just like "City of God" this film is really strong, even though not so visually beautiful, more para-documentary style. Still it's a great movie, highly recommended. A good movie to remind some shiny happy people that Brazil is not just a country of sunny beaches, but also a place of favelas, murders, discrimination, corruption and regular war with drug mob.
Too many people seem not to remember that.
