A bit disappointed with this. Police corruption, the poor struggle to survive by any means necessary and there's a lot of fighting and killing in the favelas but it lacked in many places, especially having in mind its main influence, Cidade de Deus.
It didn't do it for me as a whole. I'll give it credit for the ending though, it was like saying "Take sides NOW".
