A different perspective on the violence which occurs in the favelas of Brazil. BOPE are a really scray group of police as depicted here, and according to the director this isn't even as bad as it gets.
Clearly we must only receive the best of foreign language films here in the UK, otherwise the consistent quality of them truly shames Hollywood's output. This is one of the very few films which I have bothered to watch the director interview for, and in this instance it really adds to your understanding.
