Review of Elite Squad (2007) by Konrad S — 13 Oct 2010
This is really good Brazilian shit with incredibly simple screenplay, but great cinematographics! Story about an elite squad of police from São Paulo is only a pretext to show harsh social reality in contemporary Brasil including drug barons an always on time class war (not very fond of focusing that movie on that particular theme).
A bit like a console game, but still fantastic piece of cinema! I would definitely recommend it to all South American cinema maniacs!
