Review of Elf (2003) by Daryl K — 29 Nov 2013
Cute premise, and a very likable performance by Ferrell as the sweet-natured title "elf," Buddy. The fish-out-of-water story hits a lot of obvious notes, but 'Elf' is funny and charming enough to entertain most everyone -- kids, families, etc.
If you're a particular fan of the Christmas spirit, you'll probably like this even more.
