Good natured, family friendly comedy. Will Ferrell is once again plays a funny, silly, likeable character. The movie will amuse the kids, and make the adults laugh, which helps the movie get a wide audience.
It's effects are incredibly chessy, but that's probably what you should expect from a movie like this. To sum it all up, Elf makes an instant Chritsmas classic that makes a great family movie to watch during the holiday season.
