Review of Elf (2003) by Turtleboy G — 02 Dec 2015
Will Ferrell is simply brilliant as the protagonist human/elf Buddy! He really breathes life into this role, and I feel that without him, the film wouldn't have been as memorable. All the characters are wonderful, the story is wonderful, and a great tribute to Rankin/Bass is a powerful way to make this feel timeless! There are one or two scenes that are a little off tone here, but they aren't too big of a problem.
A great way to celebrate Christmas with the family, by watching this every year! Wonderful!
