Review of Elevator to the Gallows (1958) by Liz D — 18 Jul 2008
This murder mystery comes complete with a jazzy score that puts you in the heart of the chaos. The only downside to the movie is the length. One would think the moments in the elevator, quiet and alone, would draw out the movie.
.. but it's actually the younger french actors that tend to make the film drone on for longer than necessary. But all in all, the hopeless search of the secret lover, the trapped murderer, and the idiotic young kids fucking it all up makes you sit at the edge of your seat!
