Review of Elevator to the Gallows (1958) by Terri H — 07 Jan 2009
Very cool suspensful crime story about a murder plot carried out by two lovers going not quite as planned. Louis Malle makes every use of black and white images, especially in regards to Jeanne Moreau's excellent role as the woman waiting for her lover.
Miles Davis does the score, as if this movie wasn't cool enough.
