No amount of execution can possibly ELEVATE this abysmal script. Every one of these characters is despicable, and we're supposed to root for them? No thanks. The only question is which trapped-in-an-elevator misfire is worse: Elevator or Devil.
Is this movie worse than something written by M. Night Shyamalan? Yes, it very well might be. At least we get to see a morbidly obese Buzz McCallister, and now we know what he's been up to since the 90s: Continuing to steal all of Kevin's plain cheese pizza.
