Review of Elephant (2015) by Darsy R — 11 Feb 2009
I'm not too sure what to think of this film. The acting was excellent, the cinematography was interesting, and I was never bored. I guess my question with it is "what's the point?" I understand Van Sant wanted to simply tell the story of a typical day at high school where two students shoot up the school and not explain why, but what's the point? Seemed kind of like a waste of time when I was done with the movie.
