The most impressive thing about this movie is Van Sants utter commitment to concept.
It was slow, but that was the purpose and I doubt too many people got it.
The pacing does make it hard to sit through though. I think that if you can appreciate what its message is, then you're left satisfied otherwise you're pretty annoyed.
