Review of Elephant (2003) by N. Paul H — 27 May 2012
Beautifully shot, Elephant is good enough to exceed the brilliance of Good Will Hunting. The movie's amazingly realistic setting is what makes it so chilling. This masterpiece allows us to go inside the minds and lives of several high school teenagers, two of which are planning a horrific school massacre.
The massacre scene is amazingly directed, and without a doubt the best and most insightful scene portraying the horror of school massacres in film history. One of the most memorable and hypnotising films of the 2000's, Elephant is absolutely flawless.
