Review of Elephant (2003) by Ricardo O — 22 Feb 2010

This movie was awful and I don't say that because I am not into independent or arthouse films. It was boring. The acting was horrible. The dialogue was unbelievable - people don't say those things.

There was no character development. No rhyme or reason for following someone across a field, across a field, down a hall, down a hall, down a hall for minutes on end and nothing happens - it wasn't giving us any insight to the character, no amazingly beautiful footage.

There are obviously a few people that like the movie, but I'd say 9 out of 10 people (and not blockbuster fans) will not like this film.
