You know a movie sucks when it looks like you could have shot it, and edited it yourself in three days. This movie hits it way off the mark. It tries to depress you, and make you feel remorse for the two boys who do the shooting, and for the victims as well.
The movie lets the shooting happen, but it makes no attempt to actually... like, make you WANT to feel sorry for it. They just do a High School shooting and make you think you should feel sorry. Yeah Gus Van Sant is a terrible director, so he was nominated for Milk? Sean Peann directed himself as his character in that movie, and everyone knows it.
