Review of Elephant (1993) by Eric — 11 Dec 2008

I can't help but think the style would be more appropriate for a short film of around 30 minutes, since that's all the material really calls for. But Van Sant always has something worth saying, and there are moments of "Elephant" which are strange, beautiful, insightful, and, as you may imagine, plenty disturbing.

Worth checking out for intelligent people with patience and an appreciation for art. Emphasis on "patient".
