Review of Elemental (2023) by Bertobellamy — 27 Jun 2023
Better than 'Lightyear' but still miles away from Pixar's golden age films. The intent of making an original film with a weird concept is appreciated, but at the end of the day, everything feels very safe, and almost every character is forgettable.
Nevertheless, I think the message of having your own dreams and not your parents is presented in a funny and heartfelt way. Also, fire animation is great. If only Pixar would've taken more risks with it.
