Review of Elemental (2023) by Indieinsights — 18 Jun 2023
My kids and I tried to like it. It is not bad. It is just not... as innovative and well-written as older Pixar films? The story is a bit too cliche for my taste, and I don't even mind the newest animated kids series that really are not, say, the most original such as Young Jedi.
Could it be that Pixar needs a new creative director? And please do not start turning Pixar films into live-action films only because Disney sees a monetary opportunity.
