Review of Elektra (2013) by Albert V — 11 Sep 2009
Jennifer Garner had previously played the role of Elektra in Daredevil. While Daredevil wasn't a good film, it wasn't horrible and did a below average job at bringing one of MARVEL's popular characters to the big screen.
With this film I got extremely bored within the first 10 minutes, and it is sad to say that it didn't pick up during the rest of the film. The narrative is poor, the majority of the acting is appalling and the action scenes suffer from the fact that they have dressed the main character in the skimpiest clothes that the writers could have gotten away with.
It doesn't sink as low as Howard the Duck, but it's not too far off.
