Review of Elektra (2005) by Max R — 13 Feb 2010
Serviceable but ultimately rather plodding comic book adaptation. somehow managing to transform one of the best "female assassin" incarnations into the protagonist in a 'lifetime movie of the week: accidental stepmother to a moody adolescent' weeper.
Some nice style points and and the always delightful terence stamp help elevate this above the discard pile but only just.
