Review of Elektra (2005) by Jamie R — 13 Aug 2013
This movie is boring, dull, exhausting, and many other words alike. It takes the potential of it's name actors (Jennifer Garner and Terrance Stamp) and punches it in the face. The action is silly, it's chocked full of stupid villains that couldn't make it into X-Men, The guy who's tattoos are.
.. real?, ninjas that are suppose to be the most powerful on earth but can be stopped by a 13 year old, and a kiss-death-woman (wait now that was IN X-Men.) the supporting cast is generic and nothing special, and there's literally what seems like a half hour of Elektra skipping, doing pull ups, and sitting down.
At one point Elektra says "I'm sick of sitting here." and I was like, " YOU are? Girl I have to sit through the longest 1hr 30 i've ever sat through filled with flashbacks that don't even matter and dull action that makes up for nothing!" Not to mention that little girl is reeeaaaally annoying.
