Love this kind of shlock, I grew up with it and in a way aspire to make it, earnest, fun, entertainment without pre tense. This was a good overview but you really get a sense that there was a lot of backlash against the golan globus guys because of anti-immigrant sentiment and traditional hollywood thinking they made art rather than shit, whilst golan globus knew they were making shit all the time.
