Review of Election (2005) by April H — 10 May 2008
Both Reese Witherspoon and Matthew Broderick are excellent here. I remember this movie being nominated for best adapted screenplay at the oscars that year. For all the clout and respect Alexander Payne got for About Schmidt and Sideways, I think this is by far the better movie.
It's much more funny and over the top but extremely clever at the same time.
