Seeing this again, it's a pleasure to observe how sharp this script is, and how much they got away with in a high-school setting. Everyone is so messed up! The studio bosses must've been nervous wrecks.
Broderick and Witherspoon are both excellent, of course - just don't expect a comedy for the whole family.
