One of my favorite movies of all time. Bitingly realistic and hilariously raw, "Election" packs such a satiric punch that I watch this over and over again, always laughing in awe. Payne delivers the novel's criticism on society and politics with a clever dark tone complete with one of the funniest performances in film by Witherspoon.
This is simply one of the best and most timeless comedies.
