Review of Election 2 (2006) by Fredrik Ö — 12 Nov 2007
Complex and intriguing mob tale set in China. Very stylish and well acted. The story can be kind of confusing at times though but it all comes together by the end, it also tends to jarringly jump from dialogue driven drama to moments of jaw droppingly brutal violence, which is actually rather effective.
Another great film from Johnny To, who has yet to dissapoint.
