A decent high school comedy/drama, but not too exceptional. Witherspoon is good as the annoyingly preppy student president wannabe (even though she's in her early 20s) and Broderick does a good job of playing a nice guy who makes plenty of stupid decisions.
Maybe it doesn't resonate too much since in Australia we don't have - to the best of my knowledge - student elections... No hilarious moments, but it's pretty well paced and doesn't get boring.
