Review of Elaine Stritch: Shoot Me (2013) by Bradley H — 23 Mar 2014
A warm and funny look at the aging Elaine Stritch. Laugh-out-load at times and near-tears at others, this is a well-done documentary of about a year in the life of this great performer. Great stories and a great character which is brought out well by director Chiemi Karasawa.
A good chronicle of the career of Stritch as well as a poignant look at the effects of aging. Recommended.
