Its incredible. I appreciate it more after reading RR's autobiography. In the book, he explains the painstaking process of how he shot the film with no sound, and just matched up the sounds with the film by hand.
He explains how he raised the money to finance the movie by subjecting his body to scientific research for a month. He also met his bad guy in the labratory. I loved the movie before I read the book. and now, when I watch the movie, I can truly appreciate it.
And for everyone who thinks that the whole $7,000 is a myth, and that they spent millions in post is bullshitting. He wanted them to spend as little as possible, so he did the editing, the subtitles, color correction himself.
The version that the distributors made actually looked worse than his. I wish he could go back to stuff like this though. I loved Planet Terror, but hes getting out of hand with all of the movies and shit with his wife/whore/succubus.
WE WANT SIN CITY 2 AND MACHETE. DONT SPEND YOUR FUCKING MONEY ON RED SONJA.
