Robert Rodriguez made this on $7000 dollars... went on to win at Cannes film festival. A pretty damn cool movie.. introducing the world to the very badass character, El Mariachi. It's the first in a trilogy.
Though the first film has none of the big names like the next two, it is well done.. hard to believe it was filmed on a shoestring budget.
