Winner of the Sundance Festival Award for 1993. Aside from being in subtitles, this is an extremely well made movie for its low budget. It is the first installment to the Mexico Trilogy (El Mariachi, Desperado, and Once Upon A Time In Mexico).
It is the birth of what will become revenge on the Cartel in Mexico. Solid beginning to an excellent trilogy.
