Review of El Mariachi (1993) by Coop L — 09 Mar 2008
The best in the Mexico Trilogy by Robert Rodriguez. Just the fact that it was made for 7 grand, seals the film as a legend. The quality isn't exactly worthy of shit, and the movie might not even deserve 4 stars.
I have to profess though, that for the lack of funds Rodriguez had, and the way he pulled it off, with a simple yet intriguing story. this film will always stick. Its an independent filmmaker's supreme cream dream.
