Rodriguez's Mexican folk hero. El Mariachi is a low-budget, charming, exciting action film. He shows how great a movie can be when you use good old fashioned ingenuity instead of fistfuls of money.
"Sin ella. Sin amor.".
The scene where he walks into a bar that has a "full" mariachi band is hilarious.
